Tag: Five-Bar Shrimpgoby (Amblyeleotris Sp.)

I've only seen this shrimpgoby once and i'm having a difficult time identifying it. The main reference book i use lists it as either a Five-Bar Shrimpgoby (Amblyeleotris Sp.) OR a juvenile Giant Shrimpgoby (Amblyeleotris Fontanesii) or Nakedhead Shrimpgoby (Amblyeleotris Gymnocephala)!!

The blue/purple markings on the pelvic fin are VERY similar to those on the Giant Shrimpgoby and Nakedhead Shrimpgoby, but for now i'll leave it as the Five-Bar Shrimp Goby.
