Sometimes instinct tells you there are a set of eyes watching you, even when your back is turned.

Full moon raising over  Koh Phangan, this is the Supermoon of 2011...

This is the reason for much merriment and craziness once every month on Koh Phangan island in the Gulf of Thailand.

Tonight (19th) is the point where the moon is at its closest to the earth for the month, also known as perigee.

Oxygen and First Aid Equipment

At The Dive Inn all of our staff are trained in emergency first aid, and first aid equipment, including oxygen is on hand should the need arise.

Thankfully, this has not been the case so far.

Details of a Dragonfly's Amazing Compound Eyes...

Following on from the recent photo i added which showed the amazing structure of a Dragonfly's wing muscles, here's a macro shot of the compound eye of one of these amazing little creatures that i found on the floor of The Dive Inn (it was alive, although maybe not 100% healthy...).
