Angthong National Marine Park has recovered remarkably well from the unusually high water temperatures that affected many shallow reef systems throughout 2010.

Angthong National Marine Park, situated to the west of Koh Phangan, offers some excellent diving. It is also one of the best places for snorkelling and swimming, with spectacular views both above and below the water.
