It's the early stages of the monsoon season, but still great diving at Sail Rock

Although the first signs of the monsoon season are upon us, with a mixture of overcast skies, moderate winds and scattered rain showers, the diving conditions at the wonderful Sail Rock continue to provide excellent diving.

Finally, the windy weather seems to be easing on Koh Phangan (for this week at least..)

After 2 - 3 weeks of windy weather, reaching over 25 knots at times, the latest forecast seems to indicate that things are calming down again.

Calm weather on the way (hopefully)

Although the past few days have been a bit stormy, with the wind gaining in strength a little more today (Tuesday), it would seem that everything should calm down again in the next few days.

The sun's still shining, but it's a bit wavy out there, so hopefully Windguru.com know what they're talking about...

Is the storm over...?

Without wanting to tempt fate, it would appear that the recent storm is finally over. It's still a bit gloomy and overcast, but looking out from the pier at Chaloklum the sea appears calm.
